Donation Information.

Thank you for considering a contribution to the Tyler Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center (TDHHC).

We rely on the financial support of our community to provide programs and services to Deaf and hard of hearing people throughout East Texas. Through the generosity of people like you, we are creating a center that is truly a “one-stop shop” that will meet the needs of deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind individuals.

TDHHC was founded in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We receive no United Way support. Therefore, we depend on our friends in the community to fund our programs. Individual and corporate donations are truly the “life blood” that keeps our center functioning. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law and because of them TDHHC can provide sign language interpreting and other valuable services. As good stewards of your gifts, we make sure that every dollar we receive benefits those in our community who are Deaf and hard of hearing. Thank you for your generous donation.

East Texas Giving Day! April 26, 2022  What is East Texas Giving Day? East Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour day of giving that provides critical funding for our area nonprofits. The purpose of an area-wide Giving Day is to bring the region together on one day and as one community, raising money and awareness for East Texas nonprofits. This initiative, organized by East Texas Communities Foundation (ETCF), provides citizens an easy platform to support the mission of local nonprofits that serve our many communities. Volunteer Information

There are opportunities for volunteers to work within each service or program provided. Those working heavily with deaf and deafblind consumers must be fluent in ASL and Deaf culture, however there are volunteer positions where minimal sign language may be required. TDHHC will post a notice on our site when applications for volunteers will be accepted.

We don’t have to have these ‘cutlines’ but it isn’t necessarily obvious what the images are of and people like to understand.

The folder said these were board images so I assume they are but I wasn’t sure about this one. I just know we need images.
